Don’t get me wrong, there are some great places to eat in Enterprise and the Wiregrass in general. But the Izz Supper Club is in a category by itself. First of all, what kind of restaurant opens for dinner just once a week for only eight customers? I’ll tell you: the kind that treats cuisine as an art form and customers as family. I could give you a lengthy description of the menu, but I’ll summarize by describing just one of the many courses enjoyed by guests: Southern-style egg salad and caviar sandwich.
Chefs Christian and Becca walked us through the menu and every item had an amazing story about where it came from, how it was harvested, the way it was prepared, why it’s different, etc. The whole evening was like a master class on eating well. And we all graduated summa cum laude. I’m no prophet, but I believe in a very short time, the Club Izz will be the most sought after eating destination between Atlanta, GA, and Destin, FL. Recently I had the privilege of dining at Corner Bistro’s newly added Izz Supper Club. The evening was electric and amazing! Chefs Christian and Becca’s expertise with flavors is simply remarkable. The menu was five-star, with dishes never seen in Enterprise. So the next time you’re looking for great food and a peaceful evening, make it the Corner Bistro.
