Corner Bistro has a beautiful, private dining room especially for groups! Our exquisite Tea Room can seat up to 10 guests and is available for groups for breakfast and brunch from 8am-1pm Monday-Friday and 8:30am-1pm Saturday. Between 2 and 5pm, the room is available as meeting space for an hourly rate with or without catering.
In addition to a private dining space, we offer fully catered English-style teas with all the trimmings. We offer fine china, delicate silver, antique linens, and tiered plates with an abundance of scones, finger sandwiches, fruit, whipped cream, jam, and more! High tea includes a dedicated member of staff to brew tea for your guests and answer any questions you may have about our custom-blended loose leaf teas. A full English-style tea runs $25-40 per person (depending on how much food you’d like us to prepare for your guests). This option is ideal for bridal teas, baby showers, birthdays, graduation celebrations, and mother-daughter events. We can help make your next occasion incredibly special!
In order to create a memorable experience for you and your guests, we need a two-week lead time to create a catering quote based on your group size and what you’d like to eat (gluten-free options are also available, so be sure to mention that on the form below if you need GF cookies and sandwiches). We can also work within any budget to create a memorable teatime experience if you aren’t looking for “full English.” [Per AL Health Dept code, outside food cannot be brought into the bistro with the exception of a decorated cake from a registered bakery.]
Availability can be checked by filling in the form below or calling us. To keep our café available for regular customers and avoid long waits at the front counter, we cannot accommodate large groups in the main dining space for breakfast or brunch. If you have more than six people (including children) in your party, we ask that you reserve the private room as a matter of courtesy for others. There is a gratuity of 20% for groups of six or more people. Please call 334-763-0668 to ask about reserving the room for your group for breakfast or brunch. If you’d like to book a catered special event, please fill in the form below to let us know what kind of event you’d like to hold, how many people will be joining, and whether or not you need basic room rental or a fully catered tea. (Please note that a ten-day lead time is required for a fully catered tea so that we organize our baking schedule.) We look forward to working with you!
