Coffee Corner is…Corner Bistro!
It has been a journey with twists and turns along the way—including losing everything in a tragic fire downtown in 2022—but we have finally made it to the fulfillment of a dream, The dream began when we returned to the United States in 2018 after eight years living in two African countries and discovering some of the greatest coffee, tea, and food we had ever experienced. We wanted to bring a taste of what we enjoyed to our own little corner of Alabama—Enterprise’s historic and beautiful downtown. To give people even a small sampling of the warm, inviting café culture we loved so much has been a cherished hope. And, after four years, we are thrilled to announce we are now a full-service restaurant with an incredible chef and baker team producing breakfast and brunch with ingredients sourced from local and southern farms. Coffee Corner has now become Corner Bistro!
Our menu is seasonal and will change as the months go by—with featured standards like Overnight Oats; Bacon, Egg & Cheese on Brioche; and Loaded Grits staying put (but with garnishes changing based on what’s available from our local farms). This means a true farm-to-fork foodie experience that will keep your mouth watering. Our house-made bread will soon be joined by other delectable goods from the expanded bakery we’re adding for Chef Becca.
Stop in and meet Chef Christian and Chef Becca and have a taste of what’s cooking today! Our great coffees and teas are still on the menu—and we have grab-and-go items for folks who can’t sit and stay a while. Looking for a place to bring a group for breakfast or brunch? Our tea room is available every morning for up to 12 people to gather and enjoy a meal together (and our English afternoon teas will make a comeback in July between 2-5pm on weekdays and Saturdays). And stay tuned for our “Counter Club” to debut for intimate evening meals with a unique menu each time. Chef Christian has a lot of wonderful ideas you’re going to love.
